M3GAN by Urizon

I demand a M3gan and Child's Play reboot crossover immediately.    M3gan was a movie that as soon as I saw an image from it, I knew I did not want to see it. There was something about the overall look of this thing that just made me so uninterested. I didn’t even watch a trailer for it. Yet, maybe a few weeks ago, I went to the movies and saw the trailer while there. Was surprised that it looked pretty decent. Was better that it seemed to not be taking itself too seriously. So, after a while, I gave in and went to see it.    Starring Allison Williams, Violet McGraw and Jenna Davis, M3gan tells the story of Cady, a young girl who goes to live with her aunt Gemma after her parents are killed in a car accident. Gemma is a toy developer at a major company called Funki. She is dealing with a deadline to come out with a new hit toy to compete with the other on the market. Her solution is to make an artificial intelligence doll that pairs with a child, playing and bonding with th

GOODBYE, ERI by Urizon

It feels like a sort of off season for me with movies. Don’t get me wrong, I have seen a few, but no where like I would like to. Things have been hectic and arrangements have changed a little, so it isn’t as easy as it once was. Combine that with decreased spending, it is a little tough. In the meantime though, I have just been trying to catch up on the numerous backlog of games and anime I have while also getting back into reading manga. Boy have I been binging some manga.    One of my favorite series is one that is currently taking the anime and manga world by storm, Chainsaw Man. Goes without saying that it is an amazing series. Almost anyone would tell you that. Yet it is the first one I had read by Tatsuki Fujimoto. Afterwards, I knew I had to read more.    Starting off, I checked out his other serialized series, Fire Punch. It took me a little bit to get into Fire Punch. Had a lot of strange things going for it, yet a lot of good. Didn’t take me long to binge it and end

DON'T WORRY DARLING by Urizon

Man…I wish Don’t Worry Darling was either way worse or just a bit better.    I’m sure at this point, most people have heard about the drama happening behind the scenes with Olivia Wilde's new film Don’t Worry Darling. If you haven’t, it is way too much to explain, but certainly is worth a Google search. It is a crazy time. Truthfully, I’m pretty sure that everyone going to see this movie at this point is only going because of the drama. I guess it comes down to all publicity being good publicity.    Honestly, I wanted to see this movie when I first saw the trailer. I mean, it starred Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, and Chris Pine in what seemed like a bit of an almost horror/thriller that had a bit of mystery. I was cautiously optimistic as everything about the film seemed like it could be quite good. Though, honestly as time went on and the drama came out along with some very negative reviews, that optimistic attitude faded and instead I became a bit excited to see a potentiall

ALAN WAKE by Urizon

After about 3 weeks so far of being ill and extremely busy or exhausted, I am finally trying to get things accomplished that I have wanted to. Beating Hades was one of those, and now I am moving on to my next game. Despite having an ever growing back log of things I want to play, I just recently bought the remaster of Alan Wake and was excited to dive in. Plus, I think it is probably one of the shorter games I have to play, so easy to speed through. I will kick myself for that later.    Developed by Remedy Entertainment, Alan Wake is a third person psychological thriller/action shooter that was originally released back in 2010 for the Xbox 360. It was incredibly popular back then, as were its sequels. Unfortunately, while I had watched some let’s plays of it back in those days, I have never gotten to play any of the games myself. So thankfully, I found a used copy of the remaster that has come out recently, because I have been ready to play.    The story of this game deals with

HADES by Urizon

I have been really holding off on doing a review of Supergiant's Hades for a while now. Almost as long as I had put off playing it. Honestly, I had just intended to one hundred percent the game before doing so, but having played many times, and now being stuck with like three trophies I just can’t get, I have decided to move on. I have way too many games to play that are building up on me.    So, I had heard about Hades for quite a while now. I thought the trailers looked really cool, but I had noticed that it seemed like a top-down game, which I’m not terribly fond of. In the end, I held off for a while, until finally being convinced by others to give it a shot. Boy, am I glad I did.    Hades is a rogue-like dungeon crawler made by Supergiant Games. The story deals with the son of Hades, Zagreus, as he attempts to break out of the Underworld and makes his way up to Mount Olympus. Along the way he faces a variety of enemies while also receiving aide from the Olympians them

THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER by Urizon

Starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Taika Waititi, Christian Bale, and Tess Thompson, while also adapting the loved Mighty Thor and Gorr the God Butcher storylines, Thor: Love and Thunder was set up to potentially be one of the best Thor stories we have had. Though some worried that Taika's comedic tone would overshadow two rather more dark and mature stories, others remained hopeful after seeing his work on JoJo Rabbit. I for one decided to just stay cautiously excited.   For me, I could certainly see it going either way.   Question is, which was it?     Love and Thunder deals with a version of Thor who is trying to find himself after closing himself off from dealing with too much loss. Unfortunately, this quest for inner peace is interrupted by a being known as Gorr, who is has one goal…the extinction of all Gods. Along the way he runs back into Jane Foster who now also mysteriously has the powers of Thor. The two must band together and get past their personal iss

POKEMON SCARLET AND VIOLET by Urizon

I have been reluctantly holding off for a bit on writing a review on anything. Haven’t seen a whole lot recently, and what I have seen, I don’t think I could really say anything about that hasn’t been said already. So here we are today, with something that has been quite divisive, and something I do have opinions on, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.    Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are the newest installments in the long running video game series devolved by Game Freak. Taking place in the region of Paldea, the story has our character enrolled in either Naranja or Uva Academy. The school is starting out its annual Treasure Hunt, where students are sent out to find their treasure. Armed with a starter Pokémon and the box legendary as your ride, you are thrust into the open world to do the three-story paths and find your treasure.    As a whole, the story for this game has sounded pretty bare bones since day one. It seemed like an excuse to get you to just explore the open world. Truthf
