   I was going to type out this long, drawn out introduction for this. It would deal with the history of combat and fights to the death, eventually coming down to one of the most recent shows of strength. Who cares about all of that though! The idea of it confused me quite a bit.   Could it control well? Would it lag? Why does it exist? In the end though, I preregistered for the app and then completely forgot it existed until I received the notification an hour or so ago saying it was ready to install.   Then I did just that, immediately forgetting about it again as I played Yu-Gi-Oh.    I am really late when it comes to getting into things sometimes. I often mean to, but either money gets in the way or I forget. So after months and months of holding off, I finally bought Persona 5, having never played any other Persona game. Even then, I held off still for months and months more until finally giving the game a shot. At that point I became addicted, and started binge playing while I was on vacation. Unfortunately I still have not finished playing it as it takes so much time, and work interferes. I am really enjoying it so far and can’t wait to get back into it. I really hate that I didn’t get into it sooner honestly. I would have so much more merchandise if I had known how great of a game this was.    With that I sadly also missed out on the Persona 5 pop figures that came out. Now I can only find one of them. There was a time when I, like most others, was convinced that nearly every live action movie adaptation of an anime was terrible. The only decent one I had seen was Death Note (not the Netflix one…you can read my opinions on that). Even still, the Death Note movies told mostly the same story, but changed a bit. My opinions started to change on this eventually though with the release of the first live action Tokyo Ghoul movie.    It is an understatement that I am a huge fan of Sui Ishida’s manga series. I love the art, the story, the characters, it is just a great read. The anime came along and seemed promising in the first season before turning into a disappointing train wreck by the time it ended. Still, I can find a lot I liked in the anime. The idea of a live action movie was both exciting and terrifying. I really wanted to see the series I love brought to live action, but I wanted it to be done well. To my surprise though, the first movie was pretty good and included...

   Finally! Pokemon Masters has arrived in the app store. I have been waiting for this game. The premise of it seemed pretty interesting when it was announced, and I know there have been people more excited for this than Pokemon Shield and Sword. I don’t know what to really expect with this as I have only watched the first trailer, but I am excited to dive right in. So I’m going to play a bit and see what I think.    I love having to go through multiple menus of choosing languages, entering birthdates, agreeing to terms and services, data usage and all of that. I get it, but man, I like just getting to play my games instead of going through a process. That’s what I hate about buying new games too, can’t just play them. You have to install and update.    I feel like I have been disappointed a bit lately. Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark wasn’t great. “Fly” wasn’t particularly a good manga for the first chapter at least. The convention I went to was a bit of a disaster, among a few other things. So I am going to try again! I was going to have the next first impressions I did be a television series, but not anymore! I am determined…I am hopeful that the next manga I select will actually be good. I can only sit here with my fingers crossed and hope for the best from this. No more time wasted, let’s go!    Okay, I am reading “Absorb: Ability”. Apparently this is a comedy, supernatural series written by Setsuko Yoneyama in 2007. It is fairly older and has not been fully translated, so I assume it is going to be great and I will never get to read the rest of it. The art looks better than “Fly" did, but not excellent.    When are we getting a duck-duck-goose movie!? I have to be honest, I was going to say a tag movie, but then I suddenly remembered there is a tag movie. So yeah…. Joining the ranks of Would You Rather?, Truth or Dare, and Tag, comes the latest film to have the theme of a children’s game, Ready or Not. Now, I have a soft spot for movies like this. Even when they are dumb, I usually find them incredibly entertaining. Tag is the one of the group I haven’t seen, but I love Would you Rather and Truth or Dare, so when I saw the trailer for this, I was hyped.    Apps are at a weird time. It is at that point in life where there is an app for everything. Want to order food? Use an app. Check the weather? There’s an app for that. Learn a new language? Sure! Duolingo can stalk you. It is pretty awesome to think that so much is this easy to access now.    With all of these apps though, we also have the games.   No longer limited to just Snake, now you can play an ever growing assortment of games on your phone and tablet. There had been a time where mobile gaming was made fun of because it was just Angry Birds and Candy Crush style games, but now there are phones run games we play at home on consoles. You can go and play the classic Sonic the Hedgehog games or download and play the more recent battle royal game PubG.
