BILL AND TED FACE THE MUSIC - by Urizon

Years I have waited for this day! Finally the time has come where we get another installment in the most excellent Bill & Ted series. When this movie was announced, I was instantly super excited. I am a big, big fan of Excellent Adventure and Bogus Journey. They aren’t masterpieces by any means, but my God, they are really enjoyable.   I did have a little bit of worry with this movie considering it has been about 30 years and Keanu has moved on to more serious roles. That little bit of worry did not stop me from buying it day one though.    Bill & Ted Face the Music brings back Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter to reprise their roles as the titular Bill & Ted. Taking place in the present day, the story deals with the fact that despite all of this time, Bill and Ted have yet to write the prophesied song that would unite the world. Meanwhile, they are raising their daughters while having their wives being unhappy in their relationship. Things are bad to say the least. As Te

CODE VEIN Demo - First Impression - by Urizon

I suck at being a gamer. I’m often too broke to get games so I miss out on a lot of great releases, or at least don’t get to play them until years later. I still haven’t played The Last of Us or Skyrim. I’ve only played a little of Ocarina of Time. I just suck. One series I have wanted to try is Dark Souls. It seemed interesting to me, though I didn’t know how much I liked the character appearances or the seemingly very open world. A while ago I started to see advertisements online for this game from Bandai Namco called Code Vein. The overall look and style of the game seemed very cool and interesting. I ended up ignoring it for a while until I was perusing Reddit and saw some people’s created characters, at that point I was hooked on the idea. I did a bit of research, just to make sure and saw it was an RPG with a vampire theme and was being compared to a Dark Souls game, but with anime. So yeah, downloaded the demo and decided to dive in.    You start off needing to remember w

PRETTY GUARDIAN SAILOR MOON - First Impression - by Urizon

Not having cable makes it simultaneously easier and harder to start this whole first impressions on a television show thing. On one hand, I can’t just flip to a channel and watch whatever show is on for it, but on the other hand, Hulu, Netflix, and other streaming services allow me to browse so many shows and pick one. Unfortunately with a bit less of a random element to it, but oh well. With this seemingly infinite resource of shows to watch, what did I go for? Well naturally I jumped on Facebook to watch the first episode of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon.    Coming out in 2003, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon (or PGSM) is a Japanese Tokusatsu based on the manga Sailor Moon. Tokusatsu films and shows are ones like Godzilla or the Super Sentai series that often use a lot of special effects and monster suits. The series was produced by Toei and featured 49 episodes, 2 specials and a concert. The show was mildly successful with ratings going up and down throughout the series' run. Fr
